In this weeks blog post, I decided to focus on artworks I’ve made in the past. The photo above is a piece I made with clay in summer of 2023. This endeavor started out as me just messing around with a new tub of clay I was gifted by my dad, but I ended up giving the piece meaning. The two faces bowl-like objects supporting the heads represent the two missing eyes of the right head and the head on the bottom, giving the piece an “an eye for an eye” look (no pun intended) to it.
